ARCHILIGHT
Polycarbonate multilayer sheet

The double-layered sheet manufactured by extrusion molding and cutting/processing with POLYCARBONATE RESIN is called
ARCHILIGHT. ARCHILIGHT has a double or triple layered structure, which is excellent in insulation compared to thickness,
and is widely used as a building exterior material that requires lighting. It is also suitable for light scattering or visual blocking
purposes through special manufacturing methods such as structure specificity and pigment or additive prescription.

ARCHILIGHT Key Characteristics

Excellent insulation: Compared to other materials, it has excellent thermal insulation and has a good thermal insulation effect, and has an air layer inside to provide excellent thermal insulation.
Excellent Shock Resistance: Polycarbonates are used in a variety of places where safety is required, along with clean lights, as they are safe due to their excellent impact resistance.

Daylighting (characteristics of light): The material itself is transparent, so the transmittance is excellent, and ARCHILIGHT has a light scattering effect to create a pleasant space, such as preventing glare.

Lightweight: It weighs only half as much as glass, which is absolute for high-rise buildings and other buildings where load is to be considered, and it saves labor costs from easy transportation construction.

Free curved surface construction: The unique flexibility of the material makes it easy to construct various forms of curved surfaces, creating a beautiful architectural space.

Excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, weather resistance: Polycarbonate has a thermal deformation temperature of 135°C and a vulnerability temperature of -50°C to 140°C, which is resistant to use in a wide temperature range, with the addition of ultraviolet stabilizers and separate special manufacturing methods.

Self-extinguishing (flame retarding): Polycarbonate melts flexibly in the intense heat of the fire, but it does not contribute to the fire becoming bigger as the fire spreads.
